If you have not already met or talked over the phone to set up your next car appointment, say hello to Conner McCary, son to Richard and Sandra — husband and wife team and founders of European Automotive Engineering* (June 1978) — and current General Manager / Operator.
During his developmental years, Conner spent a lot of time in his crib located inside his parent's office at the old repair shop (just down the street from the current location before the "Lake Harbor Road Extension Project" began).
Conner briefly studied Marketing Management at a vocational school, but his real schooling began way before then, at the shop. It was here at European Automotive, where young McCary first started working on cars. This street-smart education included learning how to change the oil in a vehicle as early as twelve years old coupled with customer service experience — mostly having long, meaningful conversations with his clientele (sort of like what Sandra would often do).
McCary is a great role model not only at his job, but he is also a great father to Sawyer, Wyatt, and his grumbly dog, Izzy Girl. Kaley, his wife, can attest to this. We are proud to call Conner, "Boss," and we appreciate this jiu-jitsu grappling fanatic. He is a great leader to our crew, and he treats us like family.
* The original name of the auto repair shop was "European Automotive Engineering" because Richard loved everything German, including the intricacies of their automobile engineering.
